Even Uwe Heepen's childhood was dictated by music. Rock and classical in particular have influenced his life up until now and in all of the bands he has been a member of during this, the first phase of a career that is only just beginning, he has managed to unite these two seemingly opposite forms of music.
This charismatic all-round talent can boast of several international successes, notably with Helicon, where he enthralled the masses as singer.
Just like a good wine, his compositions have matured during his daily studio work, culminating in a true masterpiece in the form of the solo album, Timeworth.
The rich spectrum and variety of styles demonstrated on the album make it impossible to categorise this music. Rich Spanish ambience, penetrated by a clear and dominant metal rythym, dissolving into classical passages, all seamlessly and effortlessly bound together.
